WOW! Thank you so much, to CNN for this story! I can't wait to read your blog! Ladies, you are such an inspiration! Fellow New Yorker, Nancy-Lee @fashionCHICsta
Bravo, ladies, bravo! I was thrilled to see the CNN piece this morning. Your blog is wonderful and you both are lovely. I would love to learn more. I've sent you a private message.

Great article, so glad to see the shoutout to all of you fabulous dames. Tons of inspiration there, it should be required reading for every woman on her 30th birthday!
I just read a bunch of the comments on the CNN article and video -- how depressing!! Who are all those dowdy, depressing, rude and spiritless people? If the women in this article are "clowns" then I'm running away to join the circus.
I saw you in an Eyewitness News segment today and realized that I photographed you yesterday at the Easter Parade! Here's a link to the shot: http://rzfimages.wordpress.com/2013/04/01/fifth-avenue-easter-parade-the-best-impromptu-portrait-photo-shoot/#jp-carousel-1602.
If you want to use it in your blog, feel free. I would ask you have a link back to my site and credit my image (Photo by Rob Feiner/RZF Images). Regards, Rob Feiner
GROWING OLD WITH VERVE
‘Growing old gracefully’ is an outdated concept. We prefer ‘growing old with verve’. This blog documents our efforts to live up to that motto, in photos and essays. We embrace our gray hair, while sharing the playground nicely with our younger siblings. Bette Davis was right when she said 'growing old is not for sissies', but it’s also not one of Dante’s circles of hell. Idiosyncratic Fashionistas explores what’s out there for Women of a Certain Age, comments on what’s not out there, and demonstrates that our overlooked demographic is still fabulous.

Love it! But I didn't see you ladies. What an inspiration to women to celebrate who we are NOW.
ReplyDeleteHi Carla, they're in the article, not the video. Jean and Valerie, love you guys!
