However,I would take off the buttons and sew
them on again after(myself) because, in my humble
opinion, it is just easier emotionally even though that
would be time consuming .Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4743631881054046577.post-25744234102948833022014-02-28T18:34:41.001-08:002014-02-28T18:34:41.001-08:00We have a French laundry. And give the bad cleaner a bad review on Yelp!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4743631881054046577.post-28250031239349504112014-02-27T10:21:25.989-08:002014-02-27T10:21:25.989-08:00It's obviously a conspiracy! The only sure solution has been stated by previous commenters - remove the buttons before cleaning. It's a pain, but will save time and frustration later. I like the Kritzia coat, but I would have probably left it behind, knowing I'd never replace the buttons ;)Forest City Fashionistahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04428940427287921203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4743631881054046577.post-910689655243595012014-02-27T09:58:35.965-08:002014-02-27T09:58:35.965-08:00Yes! I know it's work taking them off and then sewing them on but if the buttons are unique and make the garment, then it's worth it. Or go to Jean's cleaners.
Sorry for your button agony, I would be very upset too.
Thank you for your posts, they are always interesting.
BarbaraAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4743631881054046577.post-25850606331225716942014-02-27T09:19:12.393-08:002014-02-27T09:19:12.393-08:00I'm BOTH a zipper person and a button person.....I'm BOTH a zipper person and a button person...but I would suggest Valerie remove the buttons before taking the item to the cleaner, and put them back on after the item is cleaned. A hassle, yes, but no more so than all those fruitless trips to the button district!Margyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12530078687246891396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4743631881054046577.post-83444196787495848802014-02-27T06:19:15.401-08:002014-02-27T06:19:15.401-08:00How about buying extras when you buy new buttons? ...How about buying extras when you buy new buttons?
